Respondents PRAYER: The Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the 1st respondent and quash the order of the 1st respondent bearing G.O. (Va) No.104, Transport (C1) Department, dated 02.08.2022 in so far as not including the name of the petitioner Sangam as one of the Union representative as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently, direct the respondents to include the petitioner Sangam as one of the Union representative to be invited in the discussion concerning the common Standing Order for all the Transport Corporation. ORDER

This Writ petition is filed by the petitioner to quash the order of the 1st respondent in G.O. (Va) No.104, Transport (C1) Department, dated 02.08.2022 in so far as not including the name of the petitioner Sangam as one of the Union representative as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently, direct the respondents to include the petitioner Sangam as one of the Union representative to be invited in the discussion concerning the common Standing Order for all the Transport Corporation.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing respondents would submit that the prayer of this Writ petition becomes infructuous, due to the order passed by the Government in G.O. (Va) No.162 dated 15.12.2022. The name of the petitioner Sangam was also included in the Government order by way of amendment. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. The copy of the said Government order was produced before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also would submit that the petitioner has no objection to dispose of the Writ petition by 3/6

recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Since, the claim of the petitioner has already been considered and the amended Government order was also issued, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Writ petition.

5. In view of the above, the Writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
