The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the representation dated 28.07.2017, in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, Plot No. 24-B in Secretariate Colony, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010 was allotted to the mother of the petitioner viz., Tmt. Grace L.Devasirvatham. It is the specific case of the petitioner that there is discrepancy with regard to the measurements mentioned in the approved layout and the measurements on ground.

3. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 28.07.2017 to the first respondent seeking rectification of the discrepancy. The said representation has not been considered till date. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government advocate appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the said stand taken by the learned Government advocate for the respondents, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.07.2017 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
