ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.BASKARAN, J. ] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's wife Gowri and his son Karoon Yathra @ IQ, before this Court.

Since the detenue was produced before this Court, this matter was taken up today by way of a special list. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

On enquiry, the detenue wanted to have a discussion with the petitioner in person. Therefore, the matter was passed over and was taken up after lunch.

Thereafter, when the matter was taken up, the detenue had expressed her desire to go and live with her husband, the petitioner herein, along with their child. The petitioner had also expressed his readiness to live with the detenue and his child.

Considering the submissions made by the detenue, as well as the petitioner herein, the Court finds it appropriate to permit the detenue to go along with the petitioner. Accordingly, the detenue is set at liberty to go along with the petitioner. No further orders are necessary in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
