Writ petition has been filed in the nature of certiorari seeking records of the 2nd respondent relating to an order dated 09.11.2020 and quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to continue the existing works of collection of fee for lease of V.Ramalingam Daily Market (Pal Market) at Shevapet in Salem District.

2.However, it is informed that during the pendency of this writ petition, tender notification had been issued and the petitioner had participated in the tender and declared as a successful bidder and this had been communicated 2 / 5

by order dated 24.11.2021 in Na Ka.No.1/1635/2020. The relief sought for in the writ petition therefore has become infructious. Writ petition stands dismissed, recording the aforementioned fact that the tender notification had been issued and the petitioner had been declared as successful bidder. No costs.
