Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records of the 2nd respondent in connection with order made in No.D.O.No.54/2021-C2 dated 22.07.2021 passed against petitioner's son Arunachalam, male, aged 20 years, S/o.Ezhilrajan, who is confined at the Central Prison, Thiruvannamalai and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.54/2021-C2 dated 22.07.2021 detaining his son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3986, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 31.08.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
