Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 04.01.2016 in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.1/2016 against the petitioner's husband, Pandian, Son of Selvam, aged 28 years who is confined in Central Prison, Chennai and set aside the detention order and direct the respondents to produce him before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Pandian, Son of Selvam, aged about 28 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 04.01.2016 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 04.01.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.882, dated 29.02.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
