Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to either absorb/appoint or promote the petitioners as Drivers and consequently necessary directions will have to be issued to the respondents to grant pay and allowances attached to the post of Driver with effect from the date petitioners have been asked to perform the duties of Drivers by considering the petitioners representation dated 10.06.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 10.06.2024 seeking to either absorb/appoint or promote the petitioners as Drivers.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.28272 of 2014 dated 31.07.2017, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
