ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay out the salary and other related allowances to the petitioner, including 40% of arrears in the 6th Pay Commission by disbursing grant-in-aid or in alternative, within a specified period and settle the mentioned arrears in full with interest at 12% per annum on the amount due and payable to the petitioner within a specified period.

2. It is the grievance of the Writ Petitioner that despite the representation given by the petitioner on 06.06.2023, the arrears of salary 2/5

payable to her deceased husband has not been disbursed to her and the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the writ petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and to disburse arrears of salary and retirement benefits of her husband.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader [Pondicherry] on instructions submitted that they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Orders on the same within a period of one month.

4. In such view of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2023 and pass Orders on the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
