Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate steps to restore the irrigation channel in S.No.326, Karathambu Village, Madathukulam Taluk and Tiruppur District to its original postion and remove the lane formed in S.Nos.337 and 338 ,Karathambu Village, Madathukulam Taluk and Tiruppur District after proper survey and change of reclassification of the said lands in accordance with law.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a Writ, in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate steps to restore the irrigation channel in S.No.326, Karathambu Village, Madathukulam Taluk and Tiruppur District to its original position and remove the lane formed in S.Nos.337 and 338, Karathambu Village, Madathukulam Taluk and Tiruppur District after proper survey and change of reclassification of the said lands in accordance with law. 2.
After due notice and upon instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the irrigation channel is in its original position and remains the same without any encroachment, as averred by the Officials concerned. The said submission is recorded. Consequently, the Writ Petition stands closed as agreed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. No costs.
