This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to grant appropriate orders to cut 118 (hundred and eighteen) "Red Sander Trees" from S.F.No.229 (Part) and S.F.No.426 (Part), Budur Village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent strongly opposed the prayer as the petitioner has no locus standi to maintain the Writ Petition. Further, it is stated that only the owner of the land in question can maintain a Writ Petition.
3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and has also made and endorsement to that effect. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
