ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.7 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Dharmapuri and to quash the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in Crime No.7 of 2013, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was made ready as early as on 28.7.2014 and in view of the interim stay granted by this Court, the first respondent police is unable to file the charge sheet. Hence, he seeks necessary direction to the first respondent police to file the charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate viz., learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dharmapuri.

3. Since charge sheet was already made ready as early as in the year 2014, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present criminal original petition is closed. However, the first respondent police is directed to file charge sheet in Crime No.7 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dharmapuri, as expeditiously as possible. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
