The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with the Ref. No.4209/ 2026/ B1 dated 13.11.2025 passed by the respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service in the light of the Government Letter No.13519/ N/ 2015-1 dated 23.07.2015 and Government order in G.O. Ms. No.81 Human Resources Management (N) Department dated 04.08.2022.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner joined service as a Village Administrative Officer on 09.07.2022 and has been continuing in the said post. While so, he was placed under suspension vide proceedings of the respondent dated 20.08.2025, based on a false complaint lodged by one Jeya, which resulted in a case being registered by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing, Erode, in Crime No. 09/AC/2025.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that, without conducting any preliminary enquiry or obtaining a cursory report from the concerned office, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption officials conducted a phenolphthalein test in the petitioner's office. However, the police officials did not properly inquire into the incident, and no test was conducted against the
petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.11.2025 seeking to revoke the suspension order and reinstate him into service, but the same has not been considered till date. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays that this Court may direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2025.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
5. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
