O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 07.03.2025, wherein the petitioner has sought for settling the dues to the petitioner.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that they are involved in the work of supply and installation of micro irrigation systems. In this process, the petitioner along with M/s.Dharani Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. supplied the micro irrigation system to M/s.Dharani Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. sugarcane growers spread over 5000 acres of land. The same was monitored by the respondent department and after the installation of micro irrigation systems, the petitioner was not settled with the dues. According to the petitioner, a sum of Rs.4,55,09,430/- is payable. The petitioner made a representation in this regard before the respondent department requesting 2/4

the respondent to consider the same, in the light of the operational guidelines of the respondent department. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent department along with a copy of the representation dated 07.03.2025 and also annexing the relevant bills in order to claim the dues payable to the petitioner. The respondent on receipt of the same shall deal with the representation and ensure that the amount due and payable to the petitioner is settled within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs. 23.06.2025 Index : Yes/No gya 3/4
