This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.307 of 2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.
3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.307 of 2017 under Section 294[b], 406, 506[i] IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act against three accused.
4.Today, Ms.P.Maheswari, HC 2310, Katpadi Woman Wing, Vellore District is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that if three months time is granted, investigation could be completed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Recording the same, this petition is closed with a further direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.307 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a closure report or a charge sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
