ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2024 and pass orders on the same to issue house site patta for petitioner's residence situated at Door Nos.94 and 94/1, Ward No.12, Vennadur Town Panchayat, Namakkal District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner along with his family members are residing in the subject property from the past 50 years and they are paying necessary taxes to the authorities concerned. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 18.03.2024 seeking for issuance of house site patta, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case and directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the dated 18.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
