Crl.O.P.No.16086 of 2023 G.CHANDRASEKHARAN.J., The petitioners namely P.Kandasamy, Sivagurunathan, S.Elakkiya, S.Ramachandran & R.Suganya, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 302, 316, 498(A) of IPC read with Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 in Crime No.87 of 2023 on the file of the respondent seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instruction from J.Kuppusamy, SubInspector of Police, Killai Police Station submitted that, Crime No.87 of 2023 was registered against two accused namely Silambarasan and Sundhari. Petitioners are not accused in this case.

3. In the light of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that petitioners are not accused in this Case , this Court is of the view that there is no need to pass any positive order in this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 1/3
