..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of petitioner's application dated 03.10.2023 for conducting survey and demarcation of the boundaries in Survey Numbers 215/67 of an total extent of 0.0063 Square feet situated at Ilayanarkuppam Village & Post, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District - 605 802 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court on merits.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 1st respondent to dispose of his application dated 03.10.2023 for conducting survey and demarcation of boundaries in Survey No.215/67 situated at Ilayanarkuppam Village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that 63 Sq.meter of land in Survey No.215/67 in the above mentioned village was assigned in favour of his mother Ariyamala, W/o Rasu. After her death, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the said property. The petitioner submitted a representation seeking survey of the land on 03.10.2023 and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, he is before this Court by way of writ petition.

3. It is seen from the typed set of papers that petitioner also paid necessary charges for survey of the land.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 & 2, submitted that the application of the petitioner would be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer made in the writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.10.2023 and pass final orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
