Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner Revision dated 12.03.2018 with regard to petitioner's property to an extent of 0.50 cents comprised in Survey No.171/1 an extent of 0.30 cents and comprised in Survey No.171/3 and extent of 0.20 Cents Thiruvanapatti Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District within stipulated time.

(Order of this Court was made by N.Kirubakaran, J.) The petitioner is said to be in possession of the property to an extent of 0.50 cents comprised in Survey No.171/1 an extent of 0.30 cents and comprised in Survey No.171/3 and extent of 0.20 Cents of Thiruvanapatti Village. The 2nd

respondent issued a notice under Section 7 of the Land Encroachment Act, against which the petitioner preferred an appeal to the 2nd respondent, which was dismissed. Against the dismissal order passed by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is said to have preferred a revision before the 1st respondent on 12.03.2018. The petitioner has come before this Court seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision dated 12.03.2018.

2.Heard, Mr.K.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned Additional Governmnet Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.Taking into consideration the fact that the revision filed by the petitioner is pending before the 1st respondent, it is appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision preferred by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the order is passed and the same is served upon the petitioner, the petitioner's possession and enjoyment shall not be disturbed in any manner by the respondents.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
