ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to a political party and he is doing various social welfare activities for the past 5 years. Due to political animosity, a false complaint has been lodged against him. For which, the petitioner was constantly harassed by the respondent police under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.1045/2021, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i) IPC and hence, the petitioner is needed for enquiry.

4. In view of the said submission, this Court finds that calling for the petitioner for enquiry cannot be termed as an harassment and hence this Criminal Original Petition is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
