ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the 1st respondent to take further action on the petitioner's mercy petition dated 02.11.2024.
2. When this Court put up a specific/pertinent question to the learned counsel for the petitioner that under what provision they have given Mercy Petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would fairly submit that there is no provision under the Service Rules.
4. When there is no provision to give a Mercy Petition, merely, giving petition to the authorities concerned, will not give any benefit to the petitioner.
5. In such view of the matter, this Court do not find any merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. 2/4
6. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to prefer an appeal in accordance with law. No costs. 23.06.2024 ssi Index : Yes Speaking Order : Yes /No To:
