Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 1st and 2nd respondents.

Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondents.

2. The petitioner was relieved from service on 29.02.2020. It is the case of the petitioner though the respondents bound to pay a sum of Rs.15 lakhs to the petitioner but have paid only a sum of Rs.7.5 lakhs to the petitioner and there is a balance amount of Rs.7.5 lakhs to be settled by the respondents to the petitioner.

3. The petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2021 with the respondents which is pending with the 3rd respondent. The said representation has not evoked any positive response from the respondents.

Considering the fact that the aforesaid representation has been acknowledged by the 1st respondent, appropriate orders will have to be passed on the representation dated 09.06.2021 of the petitioner by the 3rd respondent.

4. This writ petition is therefore disposed by directing the 3rd respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 09.06.2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, the petitioner is entitled to receive the balance amount shall be paid as expeditiously as possible within a period of four weeks thereafter. In all 16 weeks is granted to the 3rd respondent to release the amount if the amount is payable to the petitioner. No costs.
