O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the order dated 28.05.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.180 of 2025 by the Judicial Magistrate, Palladam, thereby dismissing the petition seeking return of

the property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned a TATA Indica Car bearing Registration No.TN-10-E-8128. The said vehicle was used for the illegal transportation of illicit liquor. The car, along with the liquor, was seized and produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Palladam, pursuant to the registration of the FIR in Crime No.77 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(A) TNP Act r/w 318, 336 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Though the petitioner was arrayed as A7, the vehicle was subsequently confiscated through confiscation proceedings dated 08.05.2025.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order dated 28.05.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.180 of 2025 by the Judicial Magistrate, Palladam. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the confiscation order passed by the Additional Superintendent of Police, Prohibition and Enforcement Wing, Tiruppur

District.

5. In the result, this Criminal Revision Case stands dismissed.
