Mr.K.K.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that as her husband died in horness dates back on 12.01.2013, she submitted a representation for compassionate appointment but the respondents is sitting over the matter and has not passed any order on the said representation. Challenging the said inaction of the respondents as such, she has filed the present writ petition with the prayer to direct the respondents to dispose of her representation within a stipulated period. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since her representation has not been disposed of, the respondents are guilty of inaction as such the respondents be directed to dispose of her representation within a stipulated period.

4. Mr.K.K.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that if such representation is pending then the same shall be disposed of by the first respondent but in accordance with law.

5. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts and submissions made, this court is of the view that no useful purpose is gong to be served by keeping the writ petition pending seeking for reply affidavit of the respondents and hence this Court disposes of this writ petition at the stage of admission with the direction to the first respondent to consider such representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks hence. Further, this Court has expressed no opinion on merits of such representation in any manner. However, in the circumstances there shall be no order as to costs.
