ORDER

Through G.O.(2D) No.263, Home (POLICE.IVA) Department, dated 16.08.2024, the order of the Writ Court, modifying the punishment into stoppage of increment for two years, without cumulative effect, has been imposed and the period of non employment has been regulated as eligible leave / duty for all purposes.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the regulation of the leave period cannot be sustained. 2/4

3. If that be so, as per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner to work out his remedies in accordance with law with regard to regulation of the non employment period. However, the order cannot be termed to be willful disobedience.
