Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeal dated 09.07.2019 filed under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 15.03.2019 concerning the petitioners' property comprised in Survey No.125/6B (141/1) Gopalapuram Village, Survey No.140/57 (140/56), Veppilaikutti Village and Survey No.140/59, Veppilaikutti Village, respectively of Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.L.Sudarsanam, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c.), who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 2.According to the petitioners, they are in possession of property in Survey No.125/6B (141/1) of Gopalapuram Village, Survey No.140/57 (140/56), of Veppilaikutti Village and Survey No.140/59, of Veppilaikutti Village, respectively in Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District. In relation to the said properties, the petitioners have preferred appeals on 09.07.2019 to the second respondent, Sub Collector, Namakkal Division, Namakkal, under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The prayer of the petitioners is that the said appeals be disposed of at the earliest.

3.In view of the prayer of the petitioners, the appeals be disposed of by respondent no.2 as expeditiously as possible. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.21634, 21642 and 21644 of 2019 are closed.
