This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/accused to quash the FIR in Crime No.132 of 2025 registered by the 1st respondent police based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, on the ground that the dispute is civil in nature and there is no prima facie material for criminal involvement. 1/4
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the FIR has been registered for the offences under Sections 296(b), 329(3), 324(4), 351(3) of BNS and Section 3(1) of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act. He further submitted that the investigation has already been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sriperumbudur on 02.05.2025 through e-filing No.LTN2023000308C202500362.
3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 2nd respondent, notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
5. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
