The petitioners have come up with the present petition seeking to call for the records and quash the FIR in Crime No.151 of 2009 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that there was a counter case against the accused persons and the same had already been closed on 07.03.2013 on the ground that it is barred by limitation and the closure report had already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettur.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the first respondent to forward the copy of the closure report to the petitioners, if not already done. However, on receipt of the same, it is always open to the petitioners to question the same in accordance with law.
