Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to produce the body of Mr.R.Jayaraj son of Raju Thenkondar aged about 61 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the wife of one Mr. Jayaraj aged 61 years. According to the petitioner, Mr. Jayaraj has been found missing from 07.06.2016 onwards. In this regard, she made a complaint to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the police also, but he has not been rescued, is her grievance.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up, the 4th respondent produced the detenu before this Court. The detenu told the court that because he incurred huge loss in the business, out of frustration, he went to Thiruvarur and stayed in the house of his uncle. He was not detained by anybody. Now, he wants to go back and live with his wife.

3. The statement is recorded.

4. In view of the above, no further direction could be granted to the petitioner.

Therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
