Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records pertaining to the public auction held on 12.04.2022 by the respondents 4 and 5 as per Auction Notice published on 05.04.2022 conferring the lease-hold right for 3 years in favour of the respondent Nos.6 to 8 herein pertaining to the 12 acres 16 cents of land comprised in S.F.No.81 Sinjuvadi Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District auction, quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 5 herein to conduct fresh auction by adhering to the lease Rules and the procedure contemplated therein.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition challenging the auction notice dated 05.04.2022, however, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the period of auction is between 12.04.2022 and 30.06.2025 and the said 2 / 5

period is over. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition, which is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions are closed. 07.10.2025 cs To
