ORDER
(Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) Seeking a direction the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's husband, by name, D.Arjun, aged about 33 years, before this Court, and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.
2. Today, Mr.D.Armstrong, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Vikravandi Police Station, Villupuram District, is present.
3. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Vikravandi Police Station Crime No.2247 of 2020 has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
registered on 10.09.2020 and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the petitioner's husband has eloped with one Senthamizselvi, a Nurse.
4. In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Villuppuram, to monitor the investigation in Vikravandi Police Station Crime No.2247 of 2020 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the persons are secured, they may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate II, Villuppuram, under intimation to the petitioner.
