O R D E R
(through Video Conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction, to direct the respondent police herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner Ms.Alamelu Ammal, and her workmen and agents being in possession of the lands in New T.S.No.14, Old Survey No.164, Door No.6, Block No.039, Ward No.001 at Velachery Town (Part 2), Velachery Taluk, Chennai Corporation, Chennai District, on the strength of complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 25.02.2020. 2.Heard Ms.P.Veena, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation dated 25.02.2020 which have been given by the petitioner, the respondent police conducted enquiry in C.S.R.No.47 of 2020 and the same has been closed for the reason that the dispute having by the petitioner is civil in nature. According to him, as of now, no representation is pending on the file of the respondent police. The said submission is recorded. 4.In this regard, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would contend that though various Courts have passed orders in favour of the petitioner, now the adjacent owners of the petitioner are causing much disturbance to the possession of the petitioner.
5.Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is at liberty to give fresh representation with new cause of action to the respondent police. If such representation is received from the petitioner, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in accordance with law. 6.With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
