ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to remove F.D.R.No.TDR No T22/MTDJ 0521226, dated 12.07.2023 and for a consequential direction to the first respondent to discharge the F.D.R bearing No.TDR No.T22/MTDJ 0521226, dated 12.07.2023 together with interest in favour of the petitioner pursuant to the order passed by the Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Chennai.

2. Heard Mr.A.Saravanan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Rajendran Raghavan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent.

3. When the writ petition came up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Indian Bank submitted that already a legal opinion was given in this case and that the FDR will be released in the name of the petitioner in a week's time.

Recording the above, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 2/4
