O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse retrenchment compensation and other benefits to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.303, Agriculture (AE-II) Department, dated 15.11.2005.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the Government has sanctioned loan from Tamilnadu State Renewal fund towards settlement of Closure compensation, Ex-gratia, Gratuity, arrear salary for 30 months (01.04.2002 to 30.09.2004), EPF and encashment of leave salary to 385 retrenched employees of AGROFED which was wound up on 30.11.2004 and out of the said amount AGROFED has settled the entire dues payable to the writ petitioner. To that effect, he has produced a copy of the letter from the Deputy Registrar AES/ Liquidator Full Additional Charge dated 24.04.2018. 3.In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. The above said copy of the letter dated 24.04.2018 is taken on record. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
