PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents in particular 2nd respondent to take appropriate action of demand for convening fresh conference for conduction for free and fair election to the Tamil Nadu Circle Bharathiya Postal Employees Association at Tamil Nadu Circle Postman and MTS.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action for convening fresh conference for conducting free and fair election to the Tamil Nadu Circle Bharathiya Postal Employees Association at Tamil Nadu Circle Postman and MTS.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the election was conducted on 31.03.2024 and Office Bearers were elected unanimously for a period of two years. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2/4

2 also furnished the copy of the Office Bearers elected on 31.03.2024. The said statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 is recorded and hence, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
