2. The appeal is filed by the Union. However, the order passed by us on 11.03.2025 reads as if the appeal is by the workman. Therefore paragraph No.2, 3 and 11 should be modified to depict the correct picture.

3. Hence, the paragraph No.2 will read as follows:-

2. Mr.P.Murugesan, the Member of the appellant who was working as a driver in the respondent Corporation, was driving the bus from Chidambaram to Salem on 04.03.2009, at around 7.45 p.m., the conductor of the bus, who was admittedly travelling on the footboard fell down and lost his life.

4. Similarly the first sentence in paragraph No.3 will read as follows:-
