ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner company and its officials in pursuant to the complaint dated 10.06.2021 given by the petitioner company.

It is seen that in this regard, the first respondent issued CSR Nos.178, 186 & 192 of 2021. At the time of admission of this writ petition, this Court directed the first respondent to refer the complaint to the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned to initiate proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. Accordingly, it was referred before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur and the enquiry is pending in LAR.No.18 of 2021. However even till today, enquiry is pending.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, Salem District is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order after giving opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as respondents 2 and 3 herein.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
