O R D E R

Heard Mr.T.Shanmugam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Arumugha Rajan, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.With the consent on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner is a landlord of a premises bearing door no.37, Railway Station Road, Sanatorium, Chennai-600 047. The shop was taken on rent by the respondent-Corporation for running https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the IMFL Retail Vending Shop No.4144. On account of the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the shop was closed by the respondent Corporation.

Subsequently, pursuant to the clarificatory orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the shop has been permitted to be opened by the District Collector, Kancheepuram, vide proceedings dated 09.07.2018. Based on the said proceedings, the first respondent had issued an order on 10.07.2018, to open the shop.

4.The petitioner's grievance is that till date the shop has not been opened, nor the rents have been paid. 5.Considering the fact that the respondent Corporation themselves have passed the order dated 10.07.2018, the respondents are directed to open the shop in question within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
