The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 174(iii) of Cr.P.C then altered to Section 306 of IPC, in Crime No.375 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute, the deceased committed suicide by hanging in her parents' house. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the FIR has been registered in Crime No.375 of 2022 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C and even till today, there is no alteration of offences. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a liberty to file a fresh petition, whenever the offence is altered into other offences.
