This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate and take further action on the complaint given by the petitioner in Crime No. 444/2018 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that on the complainant given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.444 of 2018 has been registered on 23.06.2018, and the investigation is in progress. Hence, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

or closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
