This Criminal Original Petition is filed to restrain the police from recovery of car namely Toyato Innova Crysta bearing Regn.No.TN-87-E2440 which is the subject matter of investigation in Cr.No.1 of 2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions submits that vehicle has already been seized and produced before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on 24.07.2024.

3. According to the Government Advocate, the petitioner is a lessee under one Sai Cars which has taken lease of cars from various persons and defaulted. This case has been registered and under investigation. The subject car being a case property, it has been seized and produced before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

4. In view of the above fact, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 30.07.2024 Vv 2/4
