[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the detenue viz., the petitioner's daughter Mageswari, aged about 27 years in person before this Court and set her at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Mageswari, who was aged about 27 years, went missing from 06.11.2020 and the police have not taken effective steps to secure her.

Today, Ms.M.Suganthi (Mobile No.9498128211), Women Head Constable - 19676, P-6, Kodungaiyur Police Station, is present.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a regular FIR in Crime No.1407 of 2020 has been registered on 11.11.2020 for woman missing and the investigation is in progress. He further submitted that the enquiries conducted by the police revealed that Mageswari was in love with a person and had gone with him.
In view of the above submissions, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, MKB Nagar, to monitor the investigation in Kodungaiyur Police Station Crime No.1407 of 2020 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any.
