ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed praying to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner/appellant(A3) in judgment made in Special Sessions Case No.115 of 2019 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Cuddalore, Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, Cuddalore District dated 20.02.2025 pending disposal of this appeal.

The petitioner, who is an accused in Special Sessions Case No.115 of 2019, was convicted and sentenced by the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Cuddalore, Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, Cuddalore District, vide judgment dated 20.02.2025, as follows: Rank of the accused Conviction under Section Sentence awarded A3 Section 376(3) of IPC to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 20 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for three years 3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned 2/4
Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.
On perusal of records, it is revealed that the Trial Court has gone through the evidence in its entirety and convicted the petitioner. This Court as well find that the petitioner had committed very serious and heinous offence. As such, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. 5.
In the result, this petition is dismissed.
