CR.NO.374/2013.respectively Petitions praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition imposed upon petitioners that the petitioners shall stay at Chennai and report before the Esplanade Police Station, High Court, Madras every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders in Crl.M.P.Nos.12702 of 2019 in Crl.A.No.565 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.No.569 of 2020 in Crl.A.No.461 of 2019 dated 02/11/2020.
Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. M.RAVIKUMAR, Advocate(IN BOTH THE PETITIONS)for the petitioner and of MR. K.PRABAKAR, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR(IN BOTH THE PETITIONS)on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The petitioners were released on bail in Crl.M.P.No.12702 of 2019 & 569 of 2020 in Crl.A.Nos. 565 and 461 of 2019 by this Court on 02.11.2020, on various conditions, one of which is that the petitioners were directed to report before the Esplanade Police Station, High Court, Madras every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
This petition has been filed for relaxing of the aforesaid condition on the ground that the petitioners are from Tindivanam and they do not have any place to stay in Chennai. On instructions, Mr.K.Prabhakar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioners are complying with the conditions since 19.11.2020.
In view of the above, the aforesaid condition stands modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the trial Court on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m. until the disposal of the appeals.
