ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the first respondent to pass orders on the enquiry proceedings conducted on 22.08.2008, 26.09.2008 and 3.11.2008 with regard to the change of name in the patta in respect of the lands situated in survey Nos.249/16, 249/17 and 249/31 of Nandiveduthangal Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation is yet to be disposed of by the first respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the first respondent with a fresh representation to ventilate his grievances.

3.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the third respondent, who have no serious objection in granting such relief to the petitioner.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court permits the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents in support of his claim, along with a copy of this order to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 to 4, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
