Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son, by name Mustafa, S/o.Shajagan, aged about 33 years, who is under the illegal custody of the respondents 3 and 4, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith. O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by S.Nagamuthu,J.) Alleging that her son, by name, Mustafa has been illegally detained by the respondents, the petitioner has come out with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Mr.Mustafa is an accused in a case in Crime No.386 of 2016 on the file of Ayilpatti Police Station and, in connection with the said case, he was arrested and produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, and remanded to judicial custody. The said statement is recorded.
3. Thus, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition, which is, accordingly, dismissed.
