This Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of A. No.6571 of 2024 as sufficient cause has been shown for enabling the 1st applicant to receive a sum of Rs.89,27,394.79 along with accrued interest from the 5th respondent bank. Consent letters have also been given by the remaining applicants to enable the 1st applicants to receive the money.

2. The learned counsel for the 5th respondent bank has also not raised any serious objection, if an order as prayed for in this application is granted.

3. The 5th respondent bank is directed to pay a sum of Rs.89,27,394.79 along with accrued interest to the bank account of the 1st applicant bearing A/c. No.1612596752 of Kotak Mahindra Bank, R.K. Salai, Chennai, (IFSC Code No.KKBK0008476), within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid directions, this application stands allowed. 1/3

5. The 5th respondent bank is directed to act upon the web copy of this order.
