O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2016 seeking notional promotion to the post of Health Inspector Grade-I and for monetary benefits.

2. Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Matter pertains to notional promotion of the writ petitioner, as he has superannuated on 31.03.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Petitioner has sent a representation dated 21.01.2016 to the 2nd respondent.

5. Considering the limited prayer sought by the Writ Petitioner, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal by consent of both parties.

6. The 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2016, seeking notional promotion to the post of Health Inspector Grade-I, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Though obvious, it is made clear that the representation shall be disposed of in a manner known to law.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
