PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.10.2022 in pursuance of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.8518 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court on merits and in accordance with law and further direct the 1st respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner. ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.10.2022 in pursuance of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.8518 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022 under the R.T.I. Act. 2/4

3.Mr.C.Vigneswaran, the learned counsel takes notice for the 1st respondent. Mr.A.Anandan, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 2 to 4.

4.The 1st respondent is now directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.10.2022 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today. 5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. 18.07.2023 kas Index : Yes / No To.
