ORDER
The writ petition is filed challenging the suspension order dated 01.12.2024 and the consequential charge sheet and show cause notice dated 22.01.2025 and 06.02.2025 respectively, on the file of the second respondent. The case of the petitioner is that he was suspended vide impugned order dated 01.12.2024, on the charge of selling liquor at higher price. Subsequently, show cause notice was also issued to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. 3.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the instant writ petition has been filed challenging the suspension order and the consequential charge sheet and show cause notice, he restricts his prayer seeking direction to complete the disciplinary proceedings within a reasonable time and also for payment of subsistence allowance.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that they have already issued summons to the petitioner to appear on 06.02.2025 and they would complete the enquiry proceedings within a reasonable time. 5.
Heard the learned Counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the learned Counsel for the petitioner's restricted prayer and also in view of the fair submission of the learned Standing Counsel, this Court direct the second respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As far as the subsistence allowance is concerned, the petitioner has already given a representation dated 09.06.2025. Therefore, this Court direct the second respondent consider the above said representation and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 02.07.2025 veda Index:Yes/No Speaking order To 1.
