Contempt petitions filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of this Hon'ble High Court Order dated 14.10.2015 made in W.P.No.35129 of 2014.

ORDER

The Periyar University has passed an order dated 04.11.2019 in PU/R/Estt.R5/024435/2019. The said order reads thus;

"I am by direction to inform that the Service of Dr.C.Madesh who worked, as lecturer in the Department of Commerce at Periyar University Constituent College of Arts and Science, Mettur, has been regularized notionally(without monetary benefits) w.e.f. 17.11.2006. The regularization is for the period from 17.11.2006 to 27.07.2015(The date on which he got himself relieved from the University for Government Employment).

However, this regularization above ordered, is subject to the outcome of the SLP petitions to be filed by the University in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the clarification petitions, if any, to be filed by the University in the Hon'ble High Court of Madras."

2.In view of the said order, the contempt petition is closed.
